Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Itis more important to choose to study a subject that interests you than asubject preparing you for a better job.

      Life is always rife with choices. In order to get a brilliant future, people have to make right decisions when they confront with crosses during their lifetime.Obviously, future career plays an important role in individuals' future, so choosing to study a subject is open to debate. Some people hold the view that people should learn a subject promising you for a better job. However, as far as I am concerned, to study what you are interested in is more important than to study what is only a job.

Above all, choosing ones' interests as their majors is beneficial for people's study. It is undeniable that people would like to spend much time on their favorite things. Suppose a person love his major very much. He tends to take a long time to study the subject. Needless to say, he will master much knowledge of his major after painstaking efforts.And also, interest can make people be active students. To illustrate, they are more likely to find information about their majors positively. After that they can gain enough fundamental knowledge and prepare well for further study. For example, because I am interested in history, I read many related books before I went to my university. Hence, it is much easy for me to study history courses during my undergraduate study. I also get some deeper understanding about some history events. Because my interest urges me to know much about my major, I do a really excellent performance in my major.

What's more, to study what they want to learn can protect people from learning pressure. It can make individuals enjoy the process of study to pursue interesting subjects. Studying subjects they are interested in resembles a delight journey. And people may never feel tired or boring. So even favorite subjects can help students relax from other stresses.Take myself as an example, when I hear some bad news, I would like to read some professional books in my major. These interesting books drive these depressions away from me. Majoring in people's interests is really helpful for their mental health.   

As a matter of fact, it is hard to say what major will prepare people for better jobs. If you are really good at a field,you can get a good job in this filed. If you perform very well in yourposition, any job can promise a brilliant success. Thus, people should choose the right one but the better one. In this regard, we can refer to Gates. He is really interested in computer science which is not popular when he was studying in Harvard. But today, no one can deny the success of Microsoft. In this case,it is the interest that helps Gates go toward the right direction.

In conclusion,interest is the best teacher. Besides, it is the effort but the major to promise individual a brilliant future. Therefore why not be engaged in the career suiting your interests?
