INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
As a Business Operations Associate you will join an industry-leading organization in supply chain management and get engaged in various projects and processes. You will have the opportunity to partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement business process improvement opportunities to effectively manage investments and adapt to changes in the business and regulatory environment. You will also be able to participate in the research and analysis of demand signals, identification of demand and supply constraints, and creation of executable plans that meet financial and market share goals. Aligning with HP’s internal career development framework, HP offers you both vertical and horizontal growth in supply chain and/or related fields that would best match your strengths and passions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop robust action plans to support products supply chain improvements encompassing historical demand, regular new product demand signals, and ad hoc orders
• Manage the fine balance between new and repaired parts supply to minimize the cost of materials and inventory
• Follow detailed instructions to gather data and run transactions in SAP to support demand and supply matching activities
• Identify basic supply chain anomalies and seek guidance for resolution
• Participate in quality improvement projects
• Generate and publish business reports
• Support product launch and change management
• Coordinate and deliver agreed-upon services across stakeholders, driving productivity improvements and adherence to accuracy standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree (completed prior to start date) in logistics, business, operations, engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related fields
• Excellent numeric and analytical skills
• Ability to understand complex issues and drive full resolution quickly
• Eager, quick learner with strong team-work spirit
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Desired:
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel
• Related internship experience in purchasing or planning of materials in service or manufacturing environment
• Able to perform in a fast-paced, demanding environment
