Supply Chain Business Analyst        
Location: Beijing
The main goal of this position is for supplying accurate and forecast for Ops by improving process or developing tools or bringing in global system, Also do the complex analysis for removal. This position will work with other team members in Supply Chain organization, fulfillment centers, IT, and Retail, to investigate the root cause leading to bad forecast accuracy, and drive to have the root cause resolved.
This position will be responsible for:
Coordinate with retail & other colleagues in SC to publish weekly report in order to ops making labor planning and operation decisions
Participate weekly meeting with both retail and ops to coordinate all the related affairs as a bridge, such as holiday arrangement; FC moving; New FC launch
Tracking forecast accuracy, analyzing variance reasons by taking the history, backlog, seasonality and business strategy into consideration and conducting continuous improvement
Support complex ad-hoc supply chain analysis and project as requested
Support management team in metrics execution
Regular removal business analysis support
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills, and a strong customer focus
Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work cross-functional within China organization and across Amazon locales
Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on issues
Strong verbal and written English and Chinese


Area Manager Trainee (Fulfillment Center)        
Location: Beijing, Tianjin, Kunshan, Wuhan, Guangzhou
The Junior Leadership Development Program is open to high caliber Graduates who will become our Area Managers in the future, and develop further into larger positions. The program will typically be a 12 month structured scheme, which will be operationally focused, and will enable new hires to the program to:
Build an understanding of the full breadth of our business
Develop a working knowledge of lean management and 6 sigma theories
Gain an understanding of how we work, who we are and how we stay as leaders in a fast moving and ever changing environment
Learn new skills and applies them to real life projects
Develop their own potential through being exposed to key areas of the business
Benefit from internal experience through on-going support
Have a clear goal to work towards and the skill set to be able to take on a full time AM role at the end of the development period
The successful graduates from the program will be appointed Area Managers with the following responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of 25-50 associates to meet performance objectives and KPIs in order to achieve accuracy and quality of customer promise expectations
Development and execution of daily and weekly action plans in order to meet department and FC performance KPIs
Continuously improve the functionality and level of service by exceeding functional productivity goals through data analysis and improvement of function processes and procedures
Coordinate shift distribution activities to obtain optimum distribution and utilization of the Associate workforce, machines, equipment and material
Revise production schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure or operating problems
Partner with management to establish and maintain quality control standards, take corrective action as necessary and document the lapses
Proactively communicate policies and regulations to associates, and follow up to ensure compliance and consistency
Create, manage and supporting recognition and communication programs that foster an environment of teamwork for associates and peers
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
Liaise with Global IT team through weekly meetings and/or trouble-shooting platform to improve system behavior and/or drive system issues to closure
Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
Ensure all procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
Basic Qualifications
Strong communication skills in both mandarin and English
Working knowledge of MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint

Lean Analysis Trainee (Engineering)        
Location: Suzhou

Lean Analysis Trainee will proactively interface with operations and technology staff at CN/US HQ and in the FC to develop needs, requirements, and plans for the development and implementation of complete, operationally-ready technology solutions to FC challenge. Oversee initiatives pertaining to labor and staff planning, productivity tracking and planning (individual, department, and FC), capacity planning, and scheduling. Lead effort to match FC capability and plans to annual plan and weekly S&OP plan. Work with Inbound and Outbound Sr. Operations Managers to develop and implement plans to enable FC to achieve these plans
Lead Operations Excellence activities
5S workplace organization (location of tools and Equipment based on frequency of use etc.)
Kaizen Events (ACES Events and Weekly Kaizen)
Lean Initiatives such as Andon, Flow, Visual management activities
Kaizen Culture promoting activities (bottom up mechanisms like standard work to enable daily Kaizen)
Method and Skills Trainings (Lean Six Sigma Training, 6 Step kaizen, Pick Console Trainings etc.)
Lean Six Sigma Projects (BB, GB, Lean Six Sigma Training and Mentoring)
Software Team Project and Implementation support
Standardization (Provide mechanisms to drive Process, System Settings, Equipment, Layout Standards)
Process Design and Innovation including FC Software Requests & Pizza Team Liaison
FC Process Support (Peak Support, Process Audits etc.)
Basic Qualification
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Process Engineering or related field
Good English writing and conversation skills
Strong mix of intellect and common sense
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations

Safety Specialist Trainee (Engineering)        
Location: Tianjin

Detailed Description
Serve as designated safety representative of assigned fulfillment center (FC), coordinating and implementing all areas of the Amazon Global Safety Program as directed by Safety Manager of the regional node
Influence behavior and inspire commitment on the part of all personnel in complying with Amazon safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment
Conduct training and coach associates on observed work habits in support of this effort
Support management’s efforts to ensure compliance with corporate Safety Program expectations and applicable federal and state law. Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly and monthly audits
Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions. Recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomic considerations, in all such efforts
Facilitate incident investigation process
Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly metrics reporting to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems
Maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon standards
Provide (or facilitate access to) immediate aid to associates, visitors, vendors or guests, that need assistance or medical attention
Enter Safety Incident Information in Metrics database in a timely manner
Perform Safety Observations & Audits
Train and assist others (Area Managers, Safety Team Members, etc.) to complete their Safety responsibilities (Audits, Follow Safety Rules, etc.)

Basic Qualifications
