Application process
Assessments often begin before the deadline, so it's best to submit your application early. Please note that while these deadlines apply to the majority of graduate and internship programs, some opportunities may be open outside of this timeframe. We encourage you to check individual openings to ensure you don't miss out.
Our selection process is designed to assess you in a range of competencies and technical skills. You can expect to progress through the following stages before being made an offer to any of our programs.
Stage 1: Submit Your Online Application
The online application form requires you to complete the following sections:
  • Personal details, educational background and work experience
  • Answers to a few open-ended questions
  • An online numerical test and/or logical reasoning test
You will need to specify the line of business and location in which you want to apply on the form. Please ensure you have selected the right line of business and location, as you are only able to submit one application.
Try to keep the information you provide on your application form as concise as possible. We encourage people to keep their resume to a maximum of one page. You don't need to include a photo.
Before submitting your application, please make sure your contact details are correct.
Our online tests are timed and must be completed in one sitting. We recommend you complete these in an environment where you will not be interrupted.
Stage 2: First-Round Interviews
Your application will be reviewed by the business area you have chosen and by Campus Recruitment. If you are successful in being selected for the first round of interviews, these will typically consist of one or more competency-based interviews over the phone. Your phone interview will be with a representative from the business area to which you have applied or with a member of the Campus Recruiting team.
Stage 3: The Final Round
The final round of the assessment process will vary slightly for each line of business, but will include face-to-face interviews. Some instances will include a group component or presentation where we will focus on assessing your technical skills, interpersonal/communication skills and other key competencies required for the role. We will also provide you with a good idea of what the program will entail and the type of work you could be exposed to on a day-to-day basis. Further details regarding your final stage assessment will be communicated as you progress through the process.
Full-Time and Internship Associate Programs
Applications must be made online for all Associate Programs as outlined above; however, you will need to upload a cover letter with your resume (as one document), but you will not need to complete any online tests as part of the application process. The assessment process will be the same or similar to the Analyst process.
Banking Connections
Applications for the Banking Connections program must also be made online and include a covering letter. Your online application will be carefully reviewed, and successful candidates will be selected to participate in the program.
