UCB UCLA MFE 面试经验

申请了ucb &ucla 两所学校的MFE program. 在申请过程中从各种面经中收获良多，现在写下自己的经验回馈~

楼主前100美本， 毕业后core finance工作两年，无编程经验。gmat 750 (quant 88%, verbal 98%, awa 6)

两所学校都申请的R2, UCLA 一轮面试，UCB 两轮。

UCLA with program director Erisa, 问的都是behavior questions, 重点问了why ucla, what are the other schools you applied, and what will I choose i got accepted by Berkeley. 大概一个多星期后收到admission with 10k scholarship.

UCB 申请的是r2,五月份的时候发现自己被放在hold上面，还列了一堆ACTION ITEMS. 楼主以为自己肯定没戏，没想到六月底突然接到面室邀请，时间在三天之后。。。赶紧发邮件去RESCHEDULE,后来两周之后面试。

面试者是去年毕业的美国白人小哥， 现在BLACKROCK工作，之前经历和楼主相似，也是在finance industry 工作。

1. What are the assumptions of B-S model?
2. what are the assumptions of OLS? What should you do if one of the assumption is voilated?
3. What is object-oriented programing?
4. What is CPI? Why should we pay attention to it? What should be the CPI target for a healthy economy?
5. Implicaitons of Greece referendum.

大概两周后收到邮件face to face interview request with program director Linda. 去了之后发现linda把这事忘了。。。等了20分钟后associate director Christina 跑过来跟我随便聊了些轻松的话题，又过了30分钟LINDA出现，问我那些ACTION ITEMS 都做了什么。楼主什么都没做，只好说 I will do blablabla...然后LINDA 告诉我you are admitted.
