Homework undoubtedly played an role in students’ study life in the past while recently,however, what the proper amounts and the frequency of assignments is becomes a heated issue in public.Some prefer to require daily homework in order to strengthen what they learn,some others,nevertheless,favor to let students arrange their spare time of their own.As for me,who have been studied for over 15 years,strongly recommend the latter one for following reasons.

First of all,to a large extent, it is the competence of applying knowledge in practical use that indicates a qualified students,which hardly can homework brings to students.For instance, a man with abundant swimming theory still unable to swim if he only answering the question of swimming skills on the paper but not get into water and practice;getting a high mark in the written test of the driving test does not equal to he can perfectly pass the road test.Rather than those employees with beautiful transcript from colleges which enough homework can contribute to,many big companies like IBM,Microsoft incline to hire employees who are good at practical work.As a result,daily homework is no longer as necessary as before.

Moreover, without any communication and cooperation with others,under no circumstance can a single individual survive in the modern society.In 2004 when Obama enter the Senate race, had it not been for his wife,Micheal Obama,achieve the support from her friends in business circle, Obama could not had won the race, needless to say become the president later.Consequently,never do we attach too much significance on the interaction with others,for every one are likely to give us a hand.In the contrast ,daily homework takes up large sums of time with little benefits on close relationship with others,and even sometimes will exert negative influence on communication.

Some one who in favor of the daily homework mentions that good mastery of knowledge need enough practice which makes homework necessary,which unfortunately untenable.Homeworks are set by teachers which is passive learning style which fail to benefits for a long term for a lack of altitude of active study.Only if students raise interests and start to learn automatically with great curiosity can they truly improve the ability.Study is like a process of driving the car,homework likes wheels.It is true that good wheels can contribute to more smoothly driving,but there is no use to if there is no petrol to drive the car.Therefore, daily homework is far from indispensable as those people argues.

Generally speaking,there is no need to assign daily homework.Instead,either spending the time saved enlarge social circles or applying knowledges to some practical works gains more benefits.
