Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Teachers should not make their social or political views known to students in the classroom.

There are more and more people concerning about if what teachers do and say in class is approximate for students to get. Some people think that there are times when teachers talk about their social or political views, which are improbable and can be misleading. However, in my point of view, great are advantages if teachers tell their political social views to students.

In the first place, some people think that students do not really need to get this kind of views in class. Social and political opinions are not required in students’ tests, so that they should only be taught outside the classrooms. But as a matter of fact, 86% of parents regard it as a wonderful opportunity for students to get these views in class, so that they do not have to talk to their kids about it. They also believe teachers know better than themselves when it comes to pick out what they should say to children and what shouldn’t.

Also, although teachers’ own opinion about social or political events might not be subjective, but this is the key point of why they should tell their students their own opinion. In other words, this may help their students to form the ability of thinking. Through telling their students their views, students learn about how to find out that which view is more sensible through comparison, which is a fundamental requirement for their future life. For example, if the government wants to build a hospital, but there are different opinions to this proposal. As a teacher, they should not only tell their own opinion about this event, but also teach their students how to tell the difference and decide which opinion is better.

Some say students, especially students from primary schools and middle schools, are too young to have a full knowledge about social and political events, and as a result, they can be confused by the comments from their teachers. However, either early or late, students will have to gain social or political knowledge eventually. So it makes no sense to say that students are too young to listen to their teachers about these. Social or political views are like medicines, people have to gain knowledge about it though they may not like it, and so are young students. So it’s probable for teachers to talk about their social or political views in classroom.

Undoubtedly, there is no harm for students discuss with their teachers about social or political views in class. Teachers can let their views known to their students in class with no hesitation.

总的来说，这是一篇结构完整清晰的作文，可以打到25分左右了。缺点在于，一直把自己的观点建立在驳倒反方观点上，很容易误导考官，让考官不明白你的立场。不如在第二段，第三段的时候直接给出自己的观点，比如“教师告诉学生自己的政治观点有利于学生了解批判性思维”，直接指出来，不用绕来绕去的。
