在托福听力考试中关于作家类的话题我们应该怎样解决呢?在听听力的过程中，我们又应该从哪些方面入手准备呢?

　　Now Stowe is best known for her novel Uncle Tom's Cabin, a book that details the harshness of plantation life in the south. The book was extremely popular in the United States as well as in other countries.她最有名的小说是《汤姆叔叔的小屋》，不仅在美国流行，在别的国家也很流行。
　　《汤姆叔叔的小屋》又译为《黑奴吁天录》，《汤姆大伯的小屋》，全书围绕着译为究竟苦难的黑奴汤姆叔叔的故事展开，并且描述了他于他身边的人的经历。这部感伤小说深刻的描绘出了奴隶制度残酷的本质，并且认为基督徒的爱可以战胜由奴役人类同胞所带来的伤害。
