If so, this new Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Agriculture and Life Sciences with concentration in Applied Behavioral Economics and Individual Choicemight be just what you/or them have been looking for!
This unique 2 semestersMPS program,co-directed by Dr. Brian Wansink and Dr. David Just is offered through the Dyson Schoolof Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University.It brings together useful new solutions from the social sciences that are targeted at improving consumer welfareas well as firm performance.
This unique 2-semesters program (currently in its first year) focuses on applying behavioral economics to social and market issues. It brings together useful new solutions from the social sciences that help consumers without hurting the bottom line. Students have the opportunity to stylize their program in one of three areas of focus: Behavioral Marketing, Sustainability and Behavior, and Behavioral Finance. Each of these concentrations is focused on developing innovative managers, entrepreneurs, and researchers for related industries, the government, the health care system and NGOs
Applications are open and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Priority will be given to applications received before December 15th,2014with decisions made by February 15th, 2015. For applications received after Dec 15th, 2014 admission decisions will be made within six weeks of submission. Final deadline is April 15th 2015.
