9/16/2013, PwC HR Amelia 和Ada来到UTD商学院主持了PwC Information session, 主要介绍了面向中国学生的China Sourcing Initiative program，并且在UTD 的校内招聘网站上post了申请通道。
10/3/2013-10/4/3013, PwC New York Office 对通过简历筛选的商学院学生进行了ON-CAMPUSINTERVIEWS (视频面试) 。
10/21/2013-10/22/2013, 进入最后一轮面试的同学到PwC Dallas office进行了终面。

2.       商学院申请要求:
           ·        GMAT/GRE成绩要求
           ·        成绩单原件、毕业证、学位证等附件
           ·        托福、雅思成绩要求
           ·        简历要求
           ·        三封推荐信要求
           ·        Essay(Personal Objectives Statement) 要求


3.      申请时间：
春季截止： 9月1号
夏季截止： 3月1号
秋季截止： 5月1号
这个日期是指网申截止日期，必须在这个日期前做完网申和提交申请费。然后你还有一个月的时间提交所有资料
注 意：一个月是指 我们必须在一个月之内收到你的东西。比如秋季截止5月1号，在这之前你做完网申就是安全的。之后只要在6月1号之前让我们收到所有东西（包括官方GT成绩 单）就可以，通常ETS要2-3周才会把成绩单送到我们手上，所以申秋季的最好在5月9号之前把考试考了。

4.      奖学金申请
研究生奖学金政策以官网信息为准：

因为对中国学生来说符合要求的只有：
新生：Dean’sExcellence Scholarship for New and Continuing Graduate Students
老生：IMPACTScholarship for Continuing Graduate Students


两个奖项都是$1,000 + 州内学费待遇，且不能同时获得一个以上的奖学金。

最新政策是：奖学金申请需要在拿到AD后才提交。


一旦获得了奖学金，就可以享受包括下一学年的三学期（秋季、春季、夏季 或者 春季、夏季、秋季）的州内学费待遇。


申请截止时间：
Fall Semester: Application deadline is May 20th. (Fall 2014的奖学金申请现在已经开通)
Spring Semester: Application deadline is December 5th.
注意Summer Semester是没有奖学金申请的。

6.        关于寄送
GT官方送分 (一定要收到官方分数我们才开始审核)
成绩单, resume, essay, 推荐信, 学位证或在读证明都从网申里上传。你的所有材料交齐之后，Admission Committee才会开始审核。
录取之后，official成绩单, 包括毕业证学位证(信封密封，密封处盖章)，必需在你到达UTD之后，交到Office of Registra注册!
也有很多同学在录取之前把成绩单学位证寄到UTD, 我当时就是这样。

3.       商学院社团：
ASCEND UTD Chapter: ASCEND 是全美范围的professional organization, 旨在培养在美亚洲群体的领导能力和职业能力。ASCEND UTD Student Chapter现有240+成员，来自商学院不同的专业，是商学院最大的社团。每学期ASCEND会组织各种professional, volunteering, networking events。比如VITA Program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), PwC China Sourcing Initiative program, Deloitte Mentor Program, GE Information Session,  E&Y Element of Success Workshop, 以及每年Ascend总部举办的年会。每年都有同学直接或间接通过这些活动找到工作。

关于就业
Career Management Center基本上每周都有各种career相关的events，以及举办每学期的在校招聘会。

并且提供一对一的简历修改，模拟面试，career咨询的服务。各个行业公司的professionals经常回到学校来参加与学生networking的活动。


因为我在MSA program, 根据我周围朋友的情况, 很多MSA的中国学生都在今年夏天找到实习, 并且我有3个中国朋友已经拿到2014 Fall的全职offer, 其中两个是EY。10月我参加Ascend组织的Deloitte Mentoring Circle, 十位Deloitte 亚洲background的professionals来UTD和学生networking, 其中一半都是近两三年UTD毕业的中国学生。 当然一定还有其他专业的, 我不认识的中国学生找到实习和工作的情况。


当然, 国际生在美国就业一直都是比较困难的, 大多数还是看自己的努力程度和机遇。如果是抱着在美国就业或者积累工作经验来的, 就要努力把握好学校的资源和不断争取各种机会。

关于英语资源
1.       Institute of Business Language and Culture (IBLC): 这是UTD 商学院和ELS Language Centers的项目联合。每学年(两个学期)$500,   提供学生一系列的语言和文化课程，包括英语能力和沟通技巧，商务礼节，职业规划等。

2.      iFriend program (offered by International Students Services Office) – 帮助一个国际生配对一个美国朋友。


3.      English Conversation Hour (offered by International Students Services Office) – 每周二周四4:00-5:00pm, 所有国际新生都可以参加各种话题的英语聊天，帮助国际新生提高英语沟通能力。

关于学费
首先你需要看懂这个tuition table: http://www.utdallas.edu/bursar/tuition/tables/
学费是每学期交一次 根据你那个学期选了多少个学分，每学期选的学分越多，平均每个学分学费越便宜。比如Fall 2014这个学期你选9个学分（3门课），州外学费是$10,803（有奖学金的学费是$5,970）；如果你选12个学分（4门课），那么州外学费是$13,449（有奖学金的学费是$7,029）


关于生活成本
Dallas’ overall cost of living is 92% of the national average.
以下是一些主要生活成本的基本情况：
一个月的房租(一个卧室): $300-$700 and mostly $400-$450.
一个月的水电网: $50-$80 for each roommate.
一个月的电话费: $20-$60, which depends on different data, talk and text plans.
一个月的伙食费: $80-$130 if you cook by yourself for the most of time.
学校食堂$4(sandwich) -$9(自助餐). 去校外的餐馆 $6(special lunch) -$16 for each person.
像洗发水, 牙膏, 洗衣液等日常用品和中国差不多。
