高薪没什么假期的工作与很多假期工资不高的工作,哪个好?为神马? At present, occupation has become a moreand more popular topic among citizens. While some people worry about whetherthey are able to obtain offer from any companies, others are complaining aboutthe fast pace in the workdays when they should hurry to the company andaccomplish tasks as soon as possible. Although a working position with moreholidays is admirable, I subscribe to the notion that it is more reasonable forus to choose a job from which we can get more salary but rest less frequently. First and foremost, positions with highsalary enable us to make a living. It is universally acknowledged that theexact reason why we would like to work desperately is we are under financialpressure from life and need money to improve it. For instance, as an internationalenterprise, the Samsung Electronics in Shanghai provides high wage for staff. However, it requires employees to work in their offices from 8:30 am to 6:00 pmevery day and merely allows them to rest for few days in half a year. One afteranother tasks are assigned to relevant workers and they confront extremelystrict supervision, under which they are supposed to finish assignmentsefficiently. Even in this intensive working environment, most of them arevoluntary to work overtime owing to the higher salary corresponding to moreaccomplished tasks. Furthermore, graduate studetnts majoring in electricalengineering also tend to apply to Samsung rather than China Mobile, anotherCorporation in the field of telecommunication. They are looking forward to highsalary in the former one, and even despise the relaxing work with lower wagesin the latter one. Under this circumstance, a large amount of payment for ourlives is an essential factor for us to take high-salary work in the firstplace. Simultaneously, high-salary occupationsserve as opportunities for us to become more competitive. While the low-salaryposition is like a non-rechargeable table lamp, high-salary work resembles therechargeable one. When accessed to electricity, the common lamp just lights itsbulb when the users switch it on for a short period of time. Nevetheless, thechargeable one is being charged all the time until its battery is full, nomatter whether it is turned on. In this way, users are able to take the lampwherever they want and it can still work for a long time when electricity iscut off. What's more, consumers prefer to pay more for it. Similarly, workersin intenseive potisions work for a longer time and gain more experience, andthey will have more advantages over others. Therefore, this kind of staff willbecome more competitive and the company is more willing to give them highersalary, which forms a virtuous cycle. Last but not least, people who takeintensive work will obtain more chances of promotion. From a recent survey byWuhan University, 76% of the interviewees admit that they get promoted afterworking intensively with high salary. Some of them even point out that it isthe long-time work and serious attitude that let the bosses pay attention tothem. As a consequence, then intensive work with fewer holidays is taken, workers are likely to work in better positions. In conclusion, facing fiercer society, wemust be aware of choosing high-salary work with fewer holidays. Since we arecapable of making a living, being more competitive and getting promotion, thissort of work is a better choice for us to live a happier life.
