Which one should I take, SAT or ACT? Is there any difference between these two standardized tests?

SAT is more popular to the universities in the east of the US, while ACT is more preferable in the west of the US. There are three parts of SAT, critical reading, writing and math. Meanwhile, ACT has five parts, English, Math, Reading, Writing and Science. You can choose either test by your dream schools or areas, or by your analysis of advantages and disadvantages in yourself.
