Two PhD student positions starting from 2014 fall are available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University.  The openings are primarily on experimental/computational mechanics in the group of Dr. Kejie Zhao. Candidates with background of solid mechanics and materials science, and with relevant research experience are welcome to apply.
