纽约州立大学计算机系的K.D. Kang教授最近正在招收一到两名博士学生,提供RA或者TA奖学金。具体信息如下:
Professor K.D. Kang in the Department of Computer Science at the State University of New York has one or two openings for Ph.D. students to work on the general area of research on realtime embedded systems as a Research or Teaching Assistant. Professor Kang is the Director of the Real-Time Embedded Systems Laboratory that is well known for several high quality research projects. The key research issues investigated by the ongoing projects include (but not limited to): 1) novel techniques for real-time stream data services to efficiently manage data streams such as sensor data streams, stock price streams, or tweet streams in real-time;
2) novel approaches to leveraging multicore CPUs and general purpose graphics processors (GPUs) in real-time embedded systems such as self-driving automobiles and visual surveillance; and 3) new methods for wireless networking, power management, and thermal control in mobile/embedded systems. A successful candidate is expected to be self-motivated and hardworking and ideally have a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. If an applicant is admitted, he/she will be hired as a research or teaching assistant with tuition scholarship and stipend.
