托福独立口语解析之钱该怎么花

　　Some people who unexpectedly receive a large amount of money spend it on practical things, while others spend it for pleasure only, which do you think is better and why?

　　一.审题

　　在托福独立口语考试中，审题是十分重要的一个环节，这个题目中的some…others的出现，意味着这个题目是二选一类型的题，这个题目的内容是一些人在得到一大笔钱的时候，选择用这些钱去买一些实用的东西，另一些人喜欢用这些钱去娱乐，问考生怎么选择。其实，无论考生怎么选择都是正确的，只要考生言之成理即可。

　　二.答题思路

　　考生在选择的时候，只要从自己觉得有话说的一方进行论述即可。

　　1.花钱买实用的东西

　　①实用的东西往往会保存很久，但是快乐不会永远存在

　　②购买实用的东西，可以让生活变得更加便利，提升生活的品质

　　2.花钱买快乐

　　①生命是短暂的，谁都不知道下一秒会发生什么，所以在有钱的时候要学会享受生活

　　②如果把所有的钱都用来买东西，在这个时候人们会购买很多自己不需要的东西，人不应该被物质奴役。

　　三.范文

　　I prefer spending my money for pleasure only if I unexpectedly receive a large amount of it. (在答案的开头就表明了自己的观点和看法，如果我意外的收到了一大笔钱，我会把它用在娱乐上)First of all, I believe that life is short and I must live it to the fullest. (用first of all引出了自己的第一个观点，我认为人的生命短暂，我必须用尽全力的生活，其中life is short and I must live it to the fullest 是高分表达，需要考生重点记忆)I’ve always wanted to travel the entire world before I’m too old to do so. Nothing’s more exciting than meeting people from different cultures and listening to their stories. Also, spending money on buying things isn’t the thing for me. (用also引出了自己的第二个观点)Because I believe that things you own end up owning you. It’s so easy for people to get caught up on buying stuff they don’t need, and spend all the time attending to them so they remain pristine.
