Monash University Computational Biomedicine/Bioinformatics PhD program
LOOK FOR PhD candidates with statistical learning/data mining/machine learning
background. Applicants with related papers in CS/IT/SE or Biology are preferable.
Projects are sponsored by NIH and NHMRC funding.
Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of Medicine, Monash University
Major: Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics
or Biomedical Sciences
PhD projects will focus on developing Computational Systems Biology, Systems
Pharmacology and Bioinformatics approaches, models and software tools, with specific
focus on big data mining/machine learning of biomedical and pharmacological data,
software development and large-scale data analytics.
