Applications are invited for two research assistant positions starting from
Fall 2015 or Spring 2016 in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the
Iowa State University. Potential research topics include:

1) Engineering Design under Uncertainty
2) Design of Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery Systems
3) Reliability Analysis and Risk Management
4) Prognostics and Health Management (PHM)

Successful candidates should be highly motivated, have a strong enthusiasm to
learn and seek a challenging multidisciplinary research environment, and
possess strong English communication skills. Candidates with expertise in
applied mathematics, complex system modeling and simulation, and/or
electrochemical engineering are highly encouraged to apply.
