Positions are available for Post-doctoral Fellows, and Graduate Students in the laboratory of Dr. Guan, at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Pennsylvania State University.

We are looking for postdoctoral fellows to work with us in broad areas of science and engineering. Our work in at the interface of engineering and biomedical applications. Applicants should have earned a PhD degree.
Knowledge in the following areas are of special interest: MEMS devices, lab-on-a-chip devices, point-of-care testing, micro/nanofabrication, micro/nanofluidics, bio-instrumentation, biosensors, bio-electronics, bio-photonics, surface chemistry, biochemistry or molecule biology techniques (e.g., PCR and ELISA etc.). The candidate should have a proven track record through peer-reviewed publications in the field of study.

Graduate research assistant positions in the field of biomedical devices (electronic and optical devices) are available in our lab. Graduate students will work on projects as members of multi-disciplinary research teams addressing complex real world problems.
Your undergraduate field of study need to be one of these disciplines: engineering, physics, chemistry, or biology. Students with strong experimental experience are encouraged to apply. If you are interested in working with us, be sure to mention your interest in Prof. Guan's laboratory in your written statement. Potential students are encouraged to discuss their research interest with Dr. Guan.
