In today's society,the quality of education has improved a lot.The issue about universities should spend more money on salaries for university professors is widely discuss into a point where contemplation has been arouse.As far as I'm concern,I definitely object and reckon it as a narrow and distorted view.The following reasons and examples will justify my side.

To begin with,the most vital reason is that there is no relationship between salaries and teaching quality.I don't believe that the higher the salaries are,the better the professors do.It is because,as a professors,their duty is try them best to teach their students.Even though they were not get a good paid,they indeed spent  a lot of time to improve their teaching quality.To be more specific,Bill Gates is a famous businessman all over the world.In there years,he devoted himself to charity and gave help to needy people.But he didn't gain any money from doing these things.Do you hold the view that if he could earn some money through this way,he will do better?Absolutely not.He already try his best!So it is same as the relationship between education quality and professors.

Furthermore,another reasons is that the universities should spend more money to improve their hardware facilities.It is so important for students to have a good learning environment.BUAA is one of the famous universities in the field of aviation. Every year an essential portion of the budget is allocated for the maintenance and refreshment of the equipment .So that students can put their creative ideas into reality and design their own airplanes freely. Obviously,the hardware facilities just like the bones of a university.It means a lot to students.I firmly believe that the quality of education will be improve by spending more money for hardware facilities.

Moreover,a few people are convinced that if a university spend more money for professors ,they would attract more excellent teacher to teach in this university.Frankly speaking,I don't believe it.For instance, an investigation carried out by BBC last year revealed that more than eighty percent of professors would not care too much about the salaries.In fact,they are think highly of the university's reputation. That is to say,higher salaries is not equal to better professors.

As a conclusion,it is really significant for universities to improve their education quality,but obviously spending money on professors' salaries is not a good way.
