We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Research Assistants to join Prof. Ciucci’s group at HKUST. The group focuses on advanced solid-state electrochemical devices for energy storage and conversion, such as solid oxide fuel cells, and batteries. We propose projects involving both experimental and modeling/computational work. Areas of interest include the study of innovative energy systems, the development of novel electrochemical characterization techniques, and the implementation of innovative computational methods.
The ideal candidate should:
• have an excellent track record, i.e., rank in the top 10% of his/her class;
• have at least undergraduate degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, or physics;
• be interested in experimental and/or computational research;
• speak English fluently (TOEFL and IELTS are required);
• be highly motivated and have an interest in energy research.
Regular PhD positions pay a monthly stipend of HK$ 14500 approximately |
