Parents bring their children up and undoubtedly play important roles in their lives.With the improvement of society,the way parents getting with their children has changed a lot.Many people find parents nowadays are much more familiar with their children while some others argue that their are increasing estrangements between parents and children.From my perspective,fortunately parents tend to better understand their children than ever before.

First and foremost,parents nowadays have more ways to communicate with children.In the past,the communication tools are scarce which makes interaction difficult if parents and children are separated.However,currently,cell phones are available to most people,making people are able to talk to others whenever and wherever they are.What’s more,both children and parents can update their status,share their photos, videos on the face book or twitter.Thanks to the help of those social tools,parents are able to know about the latest information of their children .They can know more about what children like or what problem they are suffering,which contribute to better understanding of their children.On the contrary,parents in the past had no idea what their children experienced.Chances are that they can not recognize their children after several years they left home,needless to say understand them,

Secondly,parents nowadays are more enlightened and open-minded than ever before.Receiving better education,parents have more liberal thoughts and can better understand children’s decision.For instance,in the ancient China,parents demanded their children to inherit their business rather than let them develop their own dream.This phenomenon badly damaged the relationship between parents and children.This problem is not alleviated until recent years..Influenced by those advanced thoughts,parents are able to understand their children’s dream and support their decisions.Like the Bill Gates,who is one of the most successful businessmen in the world,.his son devotes himself to the agriculture area and dreams of providing farmers a advanced technology to cultivate dry-resistent corps.Thanks to the influence of the modern intelligent thoughts,he entirely supports his son’s dream and never limits his son within computer area.Instead,if Bill Gates was not open minded ,hardly can he understand his son’s dream and support his business.

However,some people may state that the parents in the past spent more time with their children will probably result in the better understanding of children.However,it is not the case.For instance,statics show that nowadays over 80 percent shool teachers fail to figure out their students about their personalities with detail.Teachers spent more than 10 hours a day with students,nevertheless they fail to understand their students.Thus,it is not the time that matters but the chance to communicate by heart.

Ass a result, parents nowadays absolutely are inclined to understand their children better.With the help of the more accessible communicating tools and the open-minded thoughts,surely can the gap between parents and children disappear in the future..
