At this moment I am looking for candidates for three PhD positions to be filled ASAP. If you happen to know talented master students who might be interested in one of these exciting projects, please refer them to the Vacancies section on my home page www.uva.nl/profile/a.m.brouwer.

Specifically, I am looking for students with the following profiles:

1. synthetic chemist, preferably inorganic; for photoresist chemistry at the Advanced Research Center Nanolithography (www.arcnl.nl)

2. spectroscopist (MSc chemistry or physics) for the study of the dynamics of photoresists, also at ARCNL

3. spectroscopist, preferable experienced with microscopy, for a project together with Daniel Bonn of our physics department in which we apply fluorescence microscopy to study contact mechanics, in particular focused on friction.
