理学硕士：国际创新学位项目

理论结合应用，参与中英企业高端合作项目

概述

国际创新学位项目是一个前所未有的理学硕士学位项目，旨在为需要深造的广大同学提供一个具有开创性质的课程学习机会。该项目将学术研究、企业项目和文化体验紧密结合，由兰卡斯特大学国际知名的师资团队执教。向全球招生，成功就读的学生皆有机会参与中英企业高端合作项目。

该理学硕士项目为2年全日制教育，涵盖五个不同学科方向（见下图）的通识和专业科目。另外还提供语言、文化和商务课程，以确保学生拥有丰富独特的学习体验。

就业选择

完成学业后，该项目毕业生将充分利用他们的实践、语言以及跨文化交际能力作为其未来事业的启动平台，进行多种职业生涯的定位和选择：自主创办跨国企业、进入跨国公司或政府机关工作、继续学术深造。

跨学科学业

学生将主攻一个学科专业方向，同时修读其他学科的模块课程。该新型理学硕士学位的核心特点是跨学科联合培养，包括共享多个学院师资及合作完成企业项目。

英国和中国广东的企业项目

学生将参与两家企业项目，分别位于英国和中国广东，为期6-12个月。在专业指导下，学生将提高学科专业水平，完成合作研发和商业化项目。

沉浸式文化学习

在攻读硕士学位期间，学生将参与商务、文化和语言的各类研讨会。

生活津贴

成功就读的学生将获得“兰卡斯特中国催化项目”提供的16,000英镑津贴。由英格兰高等教育基金委员会（HEFCE）催化基金和兰卡斯特郡议会资助。该津贴不抵消学费。

Entry Requirements

To apply for the MSc International Innovation, you will normally be expected to have:

an honours degree* from a recognised university or equivalent professional qualification. We look for a minimum of a 2:1 honours degree or equivalent (e.g., a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a four-point scale or an A grade on a literal scale).
demonstrable English language competence if your first language is not English

*See below for the specific degree requirements for each pathway:

MSc International Innovation (Environmental Science)
A degree in environmental science or related discipline.
MSc International Innovation (Engineering)
A degree in engineering or a related technological subject, depending on the exact modules to be taken. For electronics modules, a degree in electronic and electrical engineering will be required.
MSc International Innovation (Computer Science)
A degree in computer science, electronic or electrical engineering, physics or mathematics.
MSc International Innovation (Design)
A degree in either a broad design discipline or from the digital and creative sectors - for example, in industrial design, product design, product design and engineering, architecture, graphic design, design management, interaction design.
MSc International Innovation (Entrepreneurship)
A degree typically in a business or management discipline, or with a substantial element of those subjects.

Work experience

You do not need to have worked after graduation to be eligible for this programme, but as you will be required to complete two in-depth company projects, one with a UK business and one with a Chinese business (in China), work experience will nevertheless be very valuable.

English language requirements

Studying at masters level demands a high level of fluency in written and spoken language, and excellent comprehension. For this reason, non-native speakers of English are normally asked to demonstrate their English language competence by taking one of the internationally recognised tests below.

Our minimum language requirements for postgraduate study are:

IELTS 7.0, with at least 6.0 in each element
Pearson Academic (PTE) 70, with at least 55 in each element
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) grade C

Please note: IELTS and Pearson scores are valid for two years from the test date.

If you are clearly a strong applicant in other respects, we may consider you for one of our pre-sessional English language courses. In this case, the offer of place on the masters programme could depend on successful completion of this course, and additional fee is charged. We have designed these courses to help you improve your English to the level needed for your academic programme.
