Intern project objective
Increase client impact of Visa value-in-kind and Visa membership programs
Job Scope
Visa China seeks interns for its Operations (Business Support) team in Shanghai or Beijing to assist in the management and execution of Visa VIK programs and provide Visa-membership-related support.
Visa value-in-kind services (VIK) are programs, projects, services and activities provided by Visa (in lieu of cash incentives paid by Visa to clients) to assist clients in growing their Visa business. VIK may include consulting services, marketing support, product launch support and cardholder campaigns and events.
Visa membership gives clients a license to conduct business with Visa using Visa-owned marks.
Responsibilities
• Help support VIK program management, including documentation drafting, project tracking, filing and information collection. Intern may also participate in communications with in-country functions (e.g., Business Development) or the Singapore Hub.
• Help support data analysis of past VIK projects and develop insights and recommendations for future VIK activities with clients.
• Support membership-related issues, especially related to city commercial banks and local non-financial institutions. Support may include data analysis and preparation of internal-required materials, such as new applicant background information and financial reports.
